Dark Moon Esbat Ritual in March 2011

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Dark Moon Esbat Ritual in March 2011
Event on 2011-03-04 18:45:00

Lunar phase on 4 March 2011 Friday is Dark Moon.
The moon is in zodiac sign Pisces.

Ritual will begin at 7:30pm

This ritual is arranged by Nyty, following the Draconian Path. An amalgam of Welsh Celtic, Celtic Traditional Wicca and Wysardn Colleges, the Draconian Path was founded in 1986 by progenitor Lord Ash who brought Wysardn teachings from Europe and melded it with the workings of his Floridian coven.

Futhermore, Nyt will inspire us with basic Scrying. We will offer scrying mirrors {black mirrors} as gifts. They have been a traditional source of power and meditation. These magickal mirrors are used as a window to other worlds and store psychic energy.

There is never a fee to attend our circle!!!

Dragon Magick, Myth or Mystical
Steeped in the Chinese tradition is the magick of the dragon. This ancient culture has strong beliefs, lore, legend and art devoted to the dragon magick and how it can help and improve people’s lives. There are numerous temples in China that are created in reverence to this mystical creature of times past. It was often practice to leave offerings at these dragon temples to invoke the good will and power of these sprits. This tradition is still carried on today in the twenty-first century in the form of food offerings to the dragon temples to bring good luck and good fortune to those who request it. The Chinese are not the only people whose past and current traditions include the mighty dragon. Other cultures that have honored and venerated the dragon are the Japanese, the Celts and many Nordic tribes and civilizations.
Dragon magick is specifically tied to the power and mystery of this mighty creature. There are many who believe in this sub-set of white magick and spend years learning how to do dragon magick. Dragon magick and learning how to do dragon magick proves to be something of an enigma in today’s society and culture. New Age author D.J. Conway has written about invoking the power of the dragon within the imagination for use as a familiar. Unlike other Wicca or magick familiars with a physical presence such as cats, dogs, birds and the like, dragon familiars are similar to spirit guides in that the person contacting the animal or creature is using their intuition to commune with the force of the imaginary familiar. In this regard the dragon and dragon magick could be considered an ally and guiding force that walks with the person and helps them in their everyday life.
There are several methods for how to do dragon magick and for drawing dragon magick to the person. The most common is to sit in a quiet room with an object that will aid the process such as a wand, crystal, stone or dragon pearl and imagine being within the realm of the dragon you are trying to envision. The dragon you create or imagine in your mind will be unique to each individual and will possess the dragon magick that is most beneficial to you personally. Other methods of how to do dragon magick include imagining yourself as the dragon and exuding the mystical force of this creature to give you strength and insight. There are thought to be four types of dragon force that are primarily focused on when learning how to do dragon magick. These four types correspond with the Wicca or magick symbol, the Pentagram—fire, water, earth and air are the four main types of dragon spirit that can be identified with by the individual.
While general belief is that dragons are mythical creatures whose virtues can become a powerful force within the imagination, still others believe in their spirit existence as a real substance. Much in the way fairies, nymphs and gnomes exist many believe that dragon spirits exist and can be used to provide guidance and power to those who require and request it. This belief puts forth a different way of how to do dragon magick and pull their spirit into your life.
Many people prefer their dragon magick in the form of talisman or good luck charms. Still others rely on crystals, rocks, stones and gems to bring forth the imagined or actual spirit of the dragon. This in itself is a form of belief in magick as it puts belief in something unknown. Many people have found Mustika Dragon pearls or stones to be helpful as use for talisman or to bring this magickal element into their lives. These items are very interesting and are said to have many virtues and properties that people find helpful and beneficial. They are similar to crystals and other items considered magickal and mystical. The Mustika Dragon pearls correspond with the four elements, fire, water, Earth and air and can be found in each of those elements. Again, whether these types of items hold any magickal power that can enhance your life and improve it, is for you and you alone to decide.

This zodiacal sign is mysterious and obscure. Pisces are characteristic of sacrifice, mysticism, compassion, idealism, vulnerability, selflessness, spiritual apathy. When the moon is in Pisces, the emotions outweigh rational thinking. Sensitivity and tendency to fantasy may be in conflict with common sense. Become a visionary look and privacy. During this time, it is difficult to concentrate, there is a likelihood of error in calculations, the emotions and feelings affect adversely on the working capacity. Adding music, painting, poetry, read an interesting book. Take care of your inner peace and avoid collective activities. The influence of this sign is often characterized by feelings of deep sorrow and indescribable, and that feeling helps the poets and composers to create.

The Dark or New Moon is the time for personal growth, healing and blessing new ventures. Consecrate new tools and objects used during rituals, ceremonies and/or festivals.

The time of the dark moon is a time of new beginnings. This period also represents the youthful aspect of the Goddess. In the form of the Maiden, she represents youth, change and a fresh start. Children can also be Named and Dedications can be made. New Moons are great times to move, start new projects or cast new spells. It is also a good time to shed your past ills and to refresh yourself for coming trials.

The Dark Moon can be thought of as a time of learning. Don’t be hesitant to try new spells at this time. You might also like to set in motion house protections or wards. Some Pagans celebrate the exact night of Dark Moon by honoring the Crone aspect of the Goddess (such as Hecate), focusing on lessons they have learned in the past cycle and banishing negativity from their lives.

Potluck!!! So, feel free to bring something to share.

Bring Hand instruments if you want > drums, flutes, tambourines, claves, maracas, etc.

Please remember to always enter our Circle with an open mind and open heart.

Probably the hottest PC games in 2011

So far in 2010 on top titles rather lean year: Bad Company 2 and Starcraft 2 form the laudable exception, Mafia 2, however, disappointed many players. Civilization 5 as well as F1 2010 will get good ratings, but are not all fans appreciated. This fall, appear to Fallout: New Vegas, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Medal of Honor still potential bomb. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is the beginning of December and will be guaranteed to sell like sliced bread.

Mass Effect 2 already took the change from the way to near-RPG shooter, the third part is expected to continue this. Also Dragon Age 2 bye in some aspects of the role play area and mutated into a 3rd-person Hack’n'Slay. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is, in comparison to its predecessors and more inclined to to give the players a lot of power and make the game easy. A propos Hack’n'Slay: Remember Hunted, the Coop gave us the title Anzocken already a lot of fun. Diablo 3, we need not mention, right? Classic RPG in 2011 are rare, except for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings are still the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic and guild wars 2 gold on the list. More direction action adventure Batman Arkham City and go the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3: Brotherhood, both sequels very good predecessor. And who wants to race, which was to wait on Test Drive Unlimited 2nd

2011 is already on the other hand, super-hits in front of the shooter genre in particular: After endless 13 years it is called “Hail to the King, baby!” because the gearbox can go to the Duke players. Crytek puts you back in the Nanosuit and sent to New York – but if Crysis 2 will make again for years, the optical reference, is due to the cross-platform development more than questionable. Graphically, also the front runners is id Software’s Rage, Epic Games and People Can Fly and share in Bullet Storm on the Unreal Engine 3, and much much violence. Bloody, it is also in Dead Space 2, when Isaac Clarke again unwrap the plasma cutter. Splash Damages Brink on id Tech 4 base will make Bad Company 2 and Co. in multiplayer competition, FEAR is 3, however, to single-player shocker. In what form Max Payne is his third appearance, is clear (Rockstar Advanced Graphics Engine) – but not exactly when. Remains Portal 2, the shooter only as a rudimentary goes through, but certainly one of the hottest PC titles for 2011. Home front is the way our tip for shooting fans.

What surprises await us and other titles for 2011? Perhaps the magnificent Red Dead Rock Star Redemption ported to the PC, a new Hitman part is also under discussion. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and is also Lord of the Rings: War in the North you can swing swords. Also we do not want to beat Red Faction Armageddon Spec Ops: The Line, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine and the fabulous 2nd Trine Battlefield 3 Frosbite with 2.0 engine and without DX9 support is also expected.

The order of the 2011 title appearing in the gallery is based on the subjective views of the author of this article.

The world can be changed by man’s endeavor, and that this endeavor can lead to something new and better .No man can sever the bonds that unite him to his society simply by averting his eyes . He must ever be receptive and sensitive to the new ; and have sufficient courage and skill to novel facts and to deal with them .—– tibia gold
