Question by JFarr74: How should my Male Noble Warrior look in Dragon Age Origins?
I have ideas to for looks for my characters. One will look like the guy in most of the original trailers for Dragon Age Origins (from the Sacred Ashes trailer and other ones like ones at E3), and another character like that, but with a five o’ clock shadow and black hair the looks like Loghain’s. I found pictures like them on Bioware forums. Which one sounds like he’ll be and look better?

Question by : How can I beat the shade after the Elven ritual in Dragon Age: Origins?
I’m really stuck in Dragon Age Origins at the part where you have to beat the shades in the Lower Brecilian Ruins. My party is made up of my character (a warrior), Morrigan, Alistair, and the dog. My party can’t kill even one of the monsters. Does anyone have any advice?

Your best bet is to group together on one of them at a time that way they die easily also if you have health potions use them do not worry about how many you use they can always be gathered again. Have morrigan use some more area spells to so she can hit more than one enemy like tempest or blizzard if you got them. Also if you are having major trouble try to lower the diffuculty or wait until you gain a few levels.

how do you kill the broodmother in dragon age origins? i get her health to half and she kills three of my guys by then and then i die i don’t have any health items. Is there a way to avoid her by backtracking or something?

set you mages tactics so she will stay back and shoot at it, and you and your other two characters should attack the tentacles and when there gone attack the blood-mother.

I want to start a new game on dragon age origins (as a girl) but my A*shole of a brother says its to hard :S does anyone have any tips for me?

thus it is a hard game in general but i dont see why gender would make a difference
