February is birthday month in our family so all who register and pay from now through February can do so at half-price. Minimum of 15 must be met.

Description- Minimum 10 Maximum 20. This will be a very intense class so please show up 10 to 15 minutes before each class starts and do not sign up if you cannot do the outside work given to you. It is impossible to run a class smoothly if student come to the class late and without finishing their homework as this is team work. We will study 1.Everyday Conversation 2.Socializing 3.Eating out 4.Numbers and Shopping 5.Helping in Emergencies and Terrorism Signs 6.Health 7.Slang and Idioms etc. If the minimum of 10 is not met the class will cancel. Deadline to register is 01/25/12 at midnight

This class cannot be used for credits but you may be able to test out at Tidewater Community College if you acquire enough knowledge of ASL. Here is the info you need. I have also added the class as a flier in hopes everyone will spread the word. If the class does not meet the 10 minimum it will cancel 8 days before the first class so hurry and sign up and tell all your friends at work, Facebook etc. Below I copied from Tidewater Community College concerning testing out for credits.
Yes, we have 'challenge tests' for ASL I and II. Students may be able to enter the Career Studies Certificate in ASL program at the ASL III level.
If you can document English proficiency and ASL proficiency, OR you feel you are ready to take ASL5 (ASL261), you may take an 'Entrance Exam' to be placed directly into the AAS Degree in ASL-English Interpretation program. Call the program head to schedule an appointment: 757-822-5015.
